I was in town for training.

First time since we’d come back from overseas.

I remember riding the BART around town and couldn’t understand why everyone was staring down into their laps.

That’s when I noticed everyone was looking at their Blackberries. (Remember those…?)

We’d completely missed the onset of the new technological revolution.

Right before we left, I’d just received my first cellular telephone. Through Cingular. (Remember them…?)
